Lab Space Our institute has space to host ten independent labs, common areas such as microbiology lab, sterile hoods room, radioactive lab, dark room, cold room, protein purification lab, storage scape etc.	Confocal Microscopy The institute count with a new Leica SP8 Compact Confocal Microscope located in the SECEGRIN facilities. In its current setup the microscope has 3 lasers (488nm, 552 nm and 638 nm) and 3 magnifications (10X, 20X and 63X).	Greenhouse We have a modern greenhouse specially designed to grow crops. Is provides a controlled environment suitable for crop transformation.
Crop Transformation Facility The Crop Transformation Facility counts with modern molecular biology and plant growth laboratories that allow the successful transformation of agronomically important plants such as maize, rice and tobacco.	Light Microscopy Facility We have a fluorescence microscope, a high magnification binocular scope illuminated by LED, several light microscope. All the equipments are compatible with our digital image acquisition system.	Plant Growth Chambers Three chambers with controlled light, temperature and photoperiod. One chamber specially designed to grow plants in plates and an incubator for those experiments that require special conditions.
